He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on October 22, 1910 and grew up in Caledonia, New York. In Wikipedia it says, "He earned his undergraduate degree from Williams College in 1932 and continued his studies at Cornell University. He worked on the radar system at MIT from 1941 to 1943." During WWII him and his team worked on creating the very first atomic bomb along with a radar display for B-28 bomber. One strange part about his life is he had three wives only because he got married then his wife died, remarried and she died, so he remarried Julie Ann Burritt and had a son William B. and two daughters Julie, and Robin. In 1958 he invented the analog computer game Tennis For Two. Well, when it came out it was like the coolest thing ever and if we look at it now it would seem boring and hard. It's literally just a line for the ground net, the ball was a glowing dot with a trail. Also you couldn't really see yourself in the game so it was a little hard to hit the ball. William Higinbot
