Thyateira also called Thyatira Ancient Greek was the name of an ancient Greek city in Asia Minor, now it becomes the modern Turkish city of Akhisar "white castle". The name is presumably Lydian Located in the northern part of Lydia on the Lycus River, Thyatira’s history is unknown.
